Erasing and resetting devices before returning them to Rune Labs is also essential to ensure your data is no longer stored. Please be sure to reset and erase all content on the device(s) and restore it to its factory settings prior to sending them back.
How to unpair and erase your Apple Watch with your iPhone
We highly recommend using your iPhone to unpair and erase your iPhone to ensure that the activation lock is removed.
- Keep your Apple Watch and iPhone close together as you unpair them.
- Open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone.
- Go to the My Watch tab and tap All Watches.
- Tap the info button next to the watch that you want to unpair.
- Tap Unpair Apple Watch.
- Tap Unpair [your Apple Watch name].
- Type your Apple ID password to disable Activation Lock, then tap Unpair.
After your Apple Watch unpairs, you'll see the Start Pairing message.
Erase your iPhone and restore it to factory settings

Go to Settings > General > Reset, then tap Erase all Contents and Settings.
- Enter your passcode or Apple ID password.
- Wait for all content to be safely removed from your device.
Check to make sure device(s) are removed from your iCloud account
- Go to www.iCloud.com/find.
- Sign in with your Apple ID and password.
- At the top, click All Devices.
- Select the device that you want to remove from iCloud.
- Click Remove from Account.
