Setting up a medication schedule is easy with StrivePD's built-in list of the most common Parkinson's medications - or add custom medications or supplements if desired.
The StrivePD Medication Schedule is designed to help you stay as close to your medication schedule as possible. By tracking your medication habits day to day, you can build an accurate history of your medications and correlate them with fluctuations in your symptoms. This historical record will allow you and your care team to uncover potential adjustments to your care plan to better serve your needs.
Keeping your schedule up to date is critical as the schedule will only update from that time forward. This will help you keep an accurate journal reflecting the timing of care plan adjustments influencing the quality of your overall well-being.

What if I take 2 different strengths of the same medication at the same time?
You can set up more than one strength of the same medication in your schedule. For example, you can add Rytary to your medication schedule with two different dosages. Alternatively, if you may occasionally take an additional dose of a scheduled medication on an as-needed basis, you can add that medication with the frequency set to As-needed in addition to your regularly scheduled times. This will allow you to log the additional dose whenever you need it.
I occasionally take pain relievers for headaches. How do I track them?
To add a medication that you take on an as-needed basis, enter your medication, select your dosage and number of pills (optional), then select “As needed” instead of “Days of the week.”
What is Auto-logging?
Auto-logging is a feature for users who are extremely consistent with their medication schedules and don't need to log manually to capture an accurate log time. We recommend utilizing this feature ONLY if you log your medications 100% on time, every time, or if you only need to occasionally update a log time for accuracy and will be doing so at the end of the day. You can still receive medication reminder notifications for auto-logged medications, but they will log automatically at the scheduled time.
When I travel to a different Time Zone, how do I adjust my schedule?
As long as your iPhone's Date & Time are configured to Set Automatically, StrivePD will maintain your schedule in the current local time. We recommend exiting and re-opening the app when you cross time zones to ensure the Date & Time are fully synced with StrivePD. To check your iPhone's setting, go to Settings > General > Date & Time, and ensure the Set Automatically option is on (green) - you may need to enable location services in support of this setting.
The schedule works like a calendar and will always appear in the local time zone. StrivePD pulls this information directly from the Time Zone setting on your device.
