Logging events and detailed notes throughout your day will help you and your care team more precisely identify the effectiveness of your current treatment plan and learn from patterns in your data.
Logging as consistently as possible will provide a more complete picture of your day.
The Log an item flow was designed to capture precise timing of important events and build an accurate timeline highlighting these events for your care team. The more precise your log times, the more accurate your timelines - and the better your StrivePD Reports will reflect your real experience. You and your care team can use this data to discover patterns over different times of the day or correlated with other events and take steps to improve your care plan accordingly.
Tap the Log an item button to get started!
1. Symptom or Side Effect
Like medication & supplements, StrivePD includes a built-in list of the most commonly logged symptoms and side effects, and if you’d like to log items not yet on our list you can easily add them. When logging symptoms and side effects, you can choose to include the duration and severity (mild, typical or severe).
2. Medication or Supplement
When choosing this function, please note this is separate from any medications that you added to your Medication Schedule. We recommend you use this flow for one-time medications as opposed to medications you take regularly. Search or select your medication or supplement from the list, or "+Add" a custom item to the list at any time.
3. Influences
With StrivePD, you can track influences that can have a significant impact on your well-being, such as
- Activities like meditation, walking or other physical exercise
- Food and Beverages that affect your condition
- Sleep and Naps
- Triggers like stress, travel or illness
4. DBS
If you have a Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) implant set up in your StrivePD profile, you can log a battery charge or mark your DBS group and amplitude to track changes you make over time and correlate those changes with symptom fluctuations.
*Please note, this feature is for reporting purposes only. This will not affect the settings on your device.
5. Notes
Notes are useful for adding descriptive details when logging an activity, capturing your thoughts and feelings, or keeping track of things you want to discuss during your next clinical visit. You’ll also find options to record notes when logging symptoms or other influences.
6. Drawing Test
Trace inside the spiral lines starting at the center point with your tremor-dominant side index finger or using a stylus with your tremor dominant hand.
*Please note, logged drawing tests are not editable, and are not currently visible in the Recent Logged Items list or StrivePD Report. Please let us know if this is something that interests you!
7. Editing Entries
Editable events can currently be logged and edited for Today and Yesterday. Scroll to the Recently Logged Items chart and tap to open an editable list of all logged items from Today and Yesterday.
